Here’s what you can expect on a typical Sunday Morning at Crossway.

Our Sunday School class begins at 10:00am and is intergenerational.  We have only one class for children and adults.  The class is a way for us to emphasize our corporate and familial approach to the study of God’s Word.  The classes are not ‘dumbed down’.  Quite the opposite, the classes are challenging for adults as well as fun for children.  The goal is that all learn together.

Our worship begins at 11:00am.  We begin with prayer as we enter God’s presence, sing a song of worship to Him, and then we have a time for testimony.  We do this to allow for a time when all believer’s can be a part of the worship of God and the edification of the saints.  We then will sing a second song of worship to God.  All singing is congregational.  After our second song we read Scripture and pray.  Then as we joyfully sing our praise to God we joyfully give our offerings to Him.  Then comes the preaching time.  Preaching at Crossway is normally a verse by verse exposition through books of the Bible.  The Bible is God’s inspired Word and we believe it should be preached in the same way that He inspired it.  After the message from God’s Word we sing a song of praise to God in response to His revealed Word.  We then pray and are dismissed.

On the 2nd Sunday Evening of each month, we meet in the home of one of our members for prayer and fellowship.  This is a casual time in which we pray for one another and fellowship together in an informal setting.

On Wednesday evening we devote our time to training and discipleship. After a time of corporate prayer, we break into groups for Bible study.

Our goal is to do what Scripture commands us to do in worship, and not to do what has not been commanded.  In this sense, our worship will always be ‘reforming’ as we learn more of God’s Word and seek to conform our worship to its standard.
